The all new Ringside Ribs is more than ribs. They have a complete menu; a well stocked bar and a casino. They are open seven days a week, 11 AM to 10 PM and located just behind Town Pump. Call them at 424-7427.

Don and the rest of the crew are unpacked from the old store and ready to help you with all your auto and shop needs. The big new and bright building is located at 100 Main St. just across from the Shelby Visitor Center. Phone them at 434-5551.

Meadowlark School Razed

They say that your best memories, outside your family, can be those first years in school. Now, for those who attended the Meadowlark school in Shelby, memories of that time will truly be all they have. That is because the school no longer exists. It has been razed to make way for Shelby's new fire hall. Many of the desks were sold along with much of the wood flooring but the rest of the school met its end being crushed and sent to the landfill. Check back for updates about the new fire hall.
